Why Therapy? Why now?
Significant life changes or challenges often create an impetus for seeking help. Sometimes it’s realizing that you’re ready to make changes but aren’t sure where to start. Often it's when something from the past, like an early trauma or a difficult childhood, is continuing to haunt you. Many of my clients tell me it's when experiences of depression or anxiety are making it challenging to feel secure in themselves or in relationships.
It’s important to me that you feel safe and in control of our counselling sessions. I go at your pace and check in frequently to make sure we're working on the things you want to work on. Embarking on therapy can be a vulnerable experience, but one that is rewarding and deeply insightful.
I bring compassion and authenticity to every session, allowing you to become more attuned to your inner strengths and resources. At the end of counselling, my goal is to help you feel that there have been positive shifts in your ability to trust your intuition and connect with others.
